Taiji Quan (T’ai Chi Ch’uan) is one of the three major internal martial arts taught at CTCC. Every movement in Taiji combines health benefits with self-defense applications. When you practice Taiji’s gentle, low-impact movements, you are strengthening your organs, opening your joints, reducing stress, improving your balance and reflexes, calming your mind, smoothing the flow of Qi along your body’s meridians, and learning to move without tension. As you begin to transform yourself from the inside out by learning these ancient techniques, you become better prepared to meet whatever you encounter in life.
