“Stay close to any sounds that make you glad you are alive”
Join us as we experience the joy of engaging the body and voice as ever-expanding vehicles for music making in this improvisational and contemplative group singing experience.
We will listen for what Music wants from us as we co-create compositions through exploration of rhythm, melody language, and harmony. We will invite the *music of the moment* into our bodies, hearts, breath and voices as we feel and hear our spontaneous compositions take shape.
This workshop is a chance for experienced singers to explore rhythmically driven improvisation within an Improv Choir setting. Instrumentalists who sing are welcome. If you are intrigued with the idea of experimenting with groove-driven vocal improv, please email email@example.com by September 9th to register. Ages 16-adult.
